Incumbents John Connolly (51,308) and Stephen Murphy (50,962) and newcomers Felix Arroyo (45,099) and Ayanna Pressley (41,847) are elected to at-large positions on the Boston City Council. Eight incumbent district City Councilors are reelected – Salvatore Lamattina, William Linehan, Charles Yancey, Rob Consalvo, John Tobin Jr., Chuck Turner, Michael Ross, and Mark Ciommo – along with newcomer Frank Baker of Dorchester.
